Sisters Sam and Adriane grew up spending summers on the lake at their grandfather's cottage in Ontario. They've dreamed of having their own cottage for lazy swimming, adventurous kayaking, and marathon reading. When they visited Simcoe County in 2022, they fell in love with the charm of Orillia, the peace of sitting in the Muskoka chairs on the dock, and the thrill of listening to the loons call out at night.

Now, they're also discovering the quiet of snowfilled days, nights solving puzzles and reading by the fireplace, and the charm of meeting neighbors walking their beloved puppy, Nova.

Sam, an actor and finance manager, lives in upstate NY, while Adriane is a vice principal at a private school in Toronto.

They named their cottage Wild Indigo after a native flower that grows in Ontario.
